Description
Set within a defined hexagonal field suggesting harmony of physical world and spiritual world, this painting brings together abstract plant forms, drifting cloud motifs, mountain and stylized ocean waves in a quiet, balanced composition.
The natural elements feel suspended between earth, sky, and water. Clouds curl softly along the edges, while waves gather at the base, mountain forms rise along the edges framing the composition without enclosing it too tightly. The plants themselves move with a fluid, almost calligraphic rhythm, as if shaped by both wind and tide. There are two Han Chi figures (from jade artifact) – phoenixes standing around the circular space as guardians.
The void at the center, unlike the surrounding forms, this area is restrained and open. It does not compete for attention but instead anchors the painting through quiet presence.
This central “heart” is intentionally kept clear. It is not overwhelmed by the surrounding movement but held apart from it. The composition suggests that while the world is full of motion, growth, and external forces, the heart can remain uncluttered, steady, and undisturbed.
